Infiniti Posted July 30, 2003 Share Posted July 30, 2003 i am so attracted to the maroon clown. but i know that only 1 can be kept. just curious on what clowns ppl rather. can a maroon live in a 10 gallon? also, i keep seeing false percular, is there a true one? if so, what's the diff? The diff between a TRUE clown and a FALSE in the true has darker outlines of the white stripes. very simple to tell once u know what i am talking about. basically the same fish, some say the false clown is hardy-er then the true but i found them to be the same...HTH Link to comment
surfy Posted July 30, 2003 Share Posted July 30, 2003 The maroon clowns get pretty big so if you get one you might have to take it out down the road. They are also very agressive so watch your fingers. I have a clarki in my 35 (neat fish) and a false perc in my 7, both stay fairly small. I have no idea about the whole false perc thing eather. Maybe if it's wild caught it is a true perc, who knows. Link to comment
