drdrew Posted July 29, 2003 Share Posted July 29, 2003 hey guys....i have modified the hood and put in a rite lite 13watt...i put a walmart HOB filter...the smallest one and a 25 watt visitherm.... the space behind the hood is very thin, but i want a bigger HOB with more flow.....i know i can cut across the plastic hood to increase the available width for the HOB, but i am concerned with depth....do you all have any other HOB's on your 2.5's??what fits? penguin87 Posted July 30, 2003 Share Posted July 30, 2003 if you want more flow, then just buy like a microjet powerhead from aquarium systems. they're extremely small, or even a minijet would work. unless of course there's a problem with putting in a powerhead into the tank, but there shouldn't be.....or is there?......unless....you're......no!......it can't be!..... yea, so you should just buy a powerhead Link to comment
