PufferGuy
i bought some bubble coral yesterday morning, but it still hasnt opened up at all. How much current/light do they like? Im wondering if i need to move it somewhere else in the tank. Thanks! Link to comment
Foogoo
They like moderate current and moderate to high lighting from my experience. Give it some time and see if it opens up. Link to comment
Crakeur
we have two large bubbles in the 180. they both looked great for a long time (6 months or more). suddenly one closed up. no reason at all. stayed closed for a while (several days) then opened up again. Never did figure it out. whenever you put new corals into a tank (or any animal really), you can't expect them to open up and move about as if they weren't just uprooted from their home and put in a new environment, with new water, new lighting, etc. Give it a couple of days.
