bautin2 Posted July 28, 2003 Share Posted July 28, 2003 Someone gave me an old SpectrePure RO/DI filter assembly. The filter cartridges are still in it. How can I tell if the cartridges themselves are worn (ie. that I'll need to buy new cartridges)? I hooked the filter up to a water hose and the water came out of the filter at a trickling rate. How do I speed this up? It seems water would come out quicker than that. Is it necessary to add a pump to accelerate the flow?
