JohnnyMTB
Picked up 12lbs Keys sand and 20lbs Keys aquacultured rock this weekend from Triton Marine (liverocks.com). It's really sweet, afraid my digital pics don't do it justice. The rock is almost completely covered in coralline, and I've seen all kinds of life- a bunch of filter feeders, bi-valves, crabs, snails, brittle star, bristle worms, etc. Mike is a really helpful guy, pulled out a 10g so I could dry stack my rock. The rock is a mined bryosis (sp?) out of Miami with really low phosphates (12.5 ppm versus 36ppm for Fiji rock per University of Florida study). It also seems really porous. Link to comment
T?@7
Sounds good, aslong as you are happy with it. Liking your rock is so important IMHO Link to comment
