Dennis_said
Hey guys, I have a 15g right now... planning on adding on a 20 gallon sump to get the volumn issue going... do you guys think this would be a good move that would warrant spending the money? That's the big issue for me right now, if it's not worth the extra 20 gallons of water volumn then I won't do it.. I would end up w/ 39 gallons for my volumn (4g from a CPR Aquafuge)... Would this help greatly to clear up the whole chemical warfare bit? Or what do you guys think?? Thanks! Link to comment
tinyreef
"dilution's the solution to pollution" while diluting the system can be helpful, you could probably counteract the various organics produced thru carbon filtration or protein skimming. the dilution from adding the sump would be more of a one-time benefit until the levels are saturated again within your closed system. wc's would probably be a more effective method of dilution solution. btw what are your symptoms of the chemical warfare between the softies that's prompting this?
