Feeding fungia

Okay, so I got this fungia two weeks ago and looked up the care info in Bornemans's book. It says that they tend to feed minimally during the day, but more so at night. This thing must be ravenous because when I feed the tank every other day, the fungia swells up and opens it's mouth. I've only target fed it twice, once with a piece of shrimp, which it devored and today when I fed frozen formula one it snagged a piece of that, that had floated by, so I tucked another piece in it's mouth. My question is, how often should I be feeding this thing. It seems to be pretty hungry.

Thanks!

I feed mine about once a week, maybe every other week when I'm concerned about my water quality. He's always readily taken food during the day when offered. I'll give him a piece of krill, silversides or squid (small pieces 1/4 inch). I also soak the food in selcon for the day. I don't think I'd feed him that often if it weren't so amazing cool to watch.
