How much macro algae is needed to fight an outbreak of hair algae in a 12 gallon?

I recently experienced some crazy hair algae outbreak in my 12 gal. All my levels are fine and I dropped my phosphate to .05 but hair is still growing crazy. It's like hitting puberty or something, HOLY CRAP! I am thinking to fight the outbreak with macro algae. Problem is, I don't have a fuge. How much do I need to fight the outbreak?

not that much because it will feed and grow fast...hurry and get more of a clean up crew them trade it off after......scarlet hermits always did a good job for me
