swampy
Alright, this thing is pretty small. It's round and has tentacle looking things, very symetrical. looks like a tiny zoo, but every time I shine any light on it, it darts back in the rock. The first time I saw it, it was only out a few minutes and then disappeared for several days. Today, I put an actinic bulb in and it is back out, I shined a flashlight on it to get a better look and it's gone again, but came back out. Anyway, can't get a photo of it as it is too small. Physh1
Does it move around and dive into different holes or does it appear to be "attached" to that rock? Cameron Link to comment
SteveC
Sounds like a baby feather duster worm. Does it look something like this? (Image from dtplankton.com.) Link to comment
swampy
could be, but the darn thing is so small I can't really tell. It is about the size on an pencil eraserhead, maybe not even that big. It goes in and out of the same hole, doesn't dart. Thanks, Swampy Link to comment
westkyracer
It's cool leave it alone. You may be seeing a copepod. Link to comment
