fishbabies Posted July 24, 2003 Share Posted July 24, 2003 just use new inserts if you plan to use media....and maybe wipe the filter parts down with baking soda to clean em and remove any fw fish residuals like meds or ... Link to comment

ch0ch Posted July 24, 2003 Author Share Posted July 24, 2003 thats what i am doing... making a fuge.. is a 300 big enuff for a 7gall? and my orignal question was if a freshwater filter would harm a saltwater tank... i already cleaned it with baking soda and as i type i am splitting the compartments with plexi...
