Anyone use this or know someone who does? I've read about good results, but I'm not really a believer in additives.

if you have a low nutrient system - believe in it. one of the best supps out there that truly does what it says. if you don't have a LNS, you may not notice much.

 

this is a notoriously slow grower:

my tank is a mess right now, I was out of town for spring break, when I came back algae had taken over! I left someone else in charge of feeding and I'm still not sure what they did, but it wasn't good...

 

 

another thing I learned - unless you seal your SW container or at least can keep dust from entering, don't use it if it's more than a few weeks old . . . I did, and this probably jump started the algae outbreak

I try to mix and use SW the same day, or the next at the least. I have always worried about that.

yes lesson learned, I now only mix up enough to do the w/c, the night before the w/c
