jcarter350
Came on the LR, not sure what it is or if it is harmful. Thanks Link to comment
coralreefengr
Looks like aiptasia. If it comes in contact with your shroom, it will probably sting it. Do a search on aiptasia here and you will get lots of tips on how to eradicate them. CRE Link to comment

Caius
Yup. Peppermint shrimp. They eat it like mad. Link to comment
SteveC
It's hard to tell from the photo but I wonder if that might be a little large for a peppermint shrimp to devour. Also, I worry about what peps do to the pod population (as well as other small fauna). I've noticed significantly less nightlife in my tank after having a peppermint for a while (but that might not be related, or it might be due to my damnable hermits). For just one, I wonder if it might be easier to somehow get it to move onto another rock you can take out, or maybe gently chip off the spot where it is now. You definitely don't want to do anything to cause it to break apart in the tank, since each piece can potentially regrow into an entire anemone. Link to comment
