Itzgana Posted July 23, 2003 Share Posted July 23, 2003 Hello All, I have just completed my small sump tank and would like to find out what is best to put in the sections that i have created. What i had planned was to have the end section (The biggest) part of the sump with say live sand and rock ? Miracle mud ? What i am not too sure is what media do i put in the frst two sections Bio-Balls ? Any suggestions on what any of you folks have got would be fab. Thanks Itzgana. Link to comment
Physh1 Posted July 23, 2003 Share Posted July 23, 2003 No Bio Balls on reefs.....no need and they will cause trouble for you in the nitrate department. All I use in my sump is some micron bags to eliminate bubbles from the incoming water. Cameron Link to comment
