Brain coral in a nano?

Hi,

Brain coral's look so nice to me, I was wondering if it is ok to keep in a nano tank. I currently have a Green star polyp and a branched frog spawn which are doing great so far. Are Brain corals hard to maintain and do they usually do ok in a nano tank?

Any thing else to consider when looking for a Brain coral?

Open brain, moon brain, or maze brain? I think all would do okay though, as long as the conditions for there care are met. I can't remember ever hearing any of those being aggressive.

go for the open brain. the favites and favia can have very long stingers that trail from the colony. or just keep the brains at the 'end' of the current loop.

Oh fuentes,

A reefer after my own heart. I LOVE brain corals. I have three in my nano now and will be adding a fourth before the week is over (unless it has sold in which case I will be ####ed).

The more brains the better IMO!

:)
