fuentes925
Hi, I noticed that my CPR Skimmer fill's my Nano with thousands of micro bubbles, Any tip's on how to reduce these micro bubbles in the tank, or should I leave it alone, do the bubbles effect the tank in a good or bad way? Should I even use a skimmer on a Nano, I could also remove the collection cup of the skimmer and add live rock and maybe some Algea to the skimmer making it a kind of mini fuge, it holds about 1 and a 1/4 gallon of water. Would that be a better use of a skimmer in a Nano making it a fuge instead of skimmer? I also have a very small bio load, Any tip's would be great. Fuentes925 Link to comment
Crakeur
bubbletrap made for the skimmer. I have one but can't fit in the tank with the fuge and other goodies. Link to comment
AZDesertRat
If its the BakPak II model get the internal bubble trap. It replaces the bio bale and also gives you enough room for a 50w heater in that side too. Link to comment
texan1
How long has the tank been set up? If the skimmer is new, then the bubbles should go away within a few days. Link to comment
