fuentes925
Hi My Frog's spawn coral once in a while will spew a red slime from it's mouth, what can that be? Is it bad or just a normal process? Also if a Frog's Spawn get's to big can I remove some of it's branches and can the removed branch grow into a new coral? Thanks Fuentes925 Link to comment
Toooloud
Is it just a standard frogspawn.. ? Or a branching Frog spawn.. If its a branching.. then sure just brake off the braches .. and they will grow new heads. Link to comment
fuentes925
It is a branching frogs spawn, I bought it the other day from the lfs. There corals are on sale for $22.00 each I even seen a elegance in the tank for $22.00, good stuff. About the red slime is that normal? Fuentes925 Link to comment
fuentes925
Cool, I just read a artical explaining how to propagate a branching frogs spawn, look's like I could make 4 diffrent heads. Off to the store for epoxy and small rocks! Link to comment
chufa
yes, that is normal, my frogspawn did that occassionally and it was very healthy. It expells excells zooxanthellae. Link to comment
