Some damselfish can be 6 inches on the reef, but in the tank they don't really exceed 3 inches or so. Some situations are just impossible, such as housing a juvenile twinspot wrasse in a 10 gallon tank (for a long period of time). If you are interested in setting up a small marine tank then find some smaller species that you seem to enjoy in literature (net, etc), and ask about that particular fish. Ask more than one source too. There are no answers to any questions in this hobby, only a neverending amount of surveys, lol. Goodluck. Link to comment
