HogWinslow
I've counted up to 10 baby sails in my tank. Don't know how the got there but they are there. Some have clear shells and some have dark almost black shells. They are about the size of a half of grain of rice. Anyone have any idea if they are good or bad? HogWinslow Link to comment
jdsabin1
Sounds like your female snails have succumbed to the mating dance of their male counterparts . I have them too, reproducing like rabbits. Shouldn't be a problem unless they reach epidemic proportions. Link to comment
reefdamsel
did you add an adult cerith snail to your tank? I bought 1 tongan cerith snail, and a couple weeks later, I had 15 babies, all of whom are doing well and growing fast--i love 'em. Maybe you had a hitchiker lay some eggs. Link to comment
HogWinslow
No new snails. I think they came with the rock I bought almost six months ago. Unless they hitchhiked on a coral or something. Link to comment
