~_~ Posted July 19, 2003 Share Posted July 19, 2003 Pretty sure. The turning on its side and twitching thing is a common sign that clown fishes (males) do to show there submission. They have given up and are surrendering to the other fish. The other fish is the dominant (bully) fish which would be female...or soon to be a female. This fish is probably larger, and if it isn't larger than the other one now, then it will be in time After they become a "mated pair", then there like husband and wife . Always together and one of them is the protector of the other one and stuff like that. Over time they eventually might spawn if the conditions are right. Link to comment
