If it is uncooked and unseasoned shrimp then it is fine. I use store bought shrimp with the shells still on them, mostly black tiger shrimp.

yes i'm talking about those frozen, uncooked ones. they're cheaper than buying fresh, non frozen shrimp from the grocery store. good to know they're fine. do you feed the shells too? or just the meat.

Just the meat, throw away the shells. I have a couple Bubble Tip Anemones that I feed small pieces of shrimp to.

I cut a small piece off of the frozen shrimp then defrost in a small amount of RO water, then I peel the shell off and soak the meat in some Zoe for 30 min.

Zoe is a vitamin and mineral supplement which is made by Kent.

There's other brands like selcon but all I can find is Zoe.
