Jandree22
1) Water overflows display tank via HOB overflow. Water flows into a smaller display refugium beside the main tank. 2) Water drains from refugium via hole drilled about 1"-2" below top of tank. Water drains into sump. 3) Water returns to display as usual. I know with this plan I'm going to have to take into account the extra sump capacity for the fuge, but any other glitches I might run into? Thanks:) Link to comment
Physh1
Seems ok to me. Personally I like to run fuges on seperate pumps. Reason being is you can pump water into the fuge and pour into the tank (if possible) so if any fuge critters escape they can be food for the tank versus eaten by pumps:D. The reason I mention this is because fuges don't do best with large flow rates...... Cameron Link to comment
