syaeger
My wife and kids fell in love with a Scooter Blennie at the LFS. I don't know too much about these fish. Would it do OK in my 10 G Nano? Would it get along with my other critters? Twobuck40
IMO he would starve to death. Usually the only do well in larger established tanks. Link to comment
~_~
Hmm, I don't know, but I have a red scooter blenny in my 20H. Scooters are really dragonets like mandarins, so the requirements are the same as dragonets..lots and lots of pods with lots of live rock. Supposedly Scooters are more likely to eat prepared foods ...but even then they have to be fed all the time. My Scooter eats prepared foods and I spot feed mine various frozen foods soaked in zoe/zoecon at *least* 3 times a day just to be safe and to make sure he doesn't go nuts on the pods and eat them all : Link to comment
syaeger
Thanks for the info! Being new to the hobby, I'm still learning all of the lingo. What are pods? How do you grow/cultivate them? Link to comment
