myelin
I was adding my topoff water and I mixed in Seabuffer pH/alk and turbo Ca. When I added this to the tank, it clouded up very quickly. I assume the Ca percipitated and is visible in the water. I already did a 1/4 (3gal) water change in an attempt to get rid of the cloudy water. Is this going to harm anything? Will the cloudiness go away, or do I need to continue to do water changes? Lesson learned. ??? Link to comment
onthefly
I assume your top off was fresh water (have to ask)? If the buffer is not fully dissovled, it can crash out of solution. Link to comment
myelin
I use ro/di water for topoff. Things are looking better now. The cloudiness went away. I was afraid of it harming my inverts. and fish. All seems well. Link to comment
