DAP
The pH of my RO/DI water is 7.0-7.2. When used for top-off water, should I adjust the pH of the Ro/DI water to 8.3 by adding baking soda? Link to comment
myelin
I would just use Seabuffer to get the pH up. It is also an alk buffer. It has worked just fine for me. I add it in with my topoff water. Link to comment
seabass
RO water’s pH should be close to 7, but you really don’t need to adjust it unless you are using it for a freshwater dip (then you should). Your salt mix will get the pH were it should be. Measure the pH in your tank's water, if that’s Ok you have nothing to worry about. Otherwise, adjust as needed. Link to comment
