LITTLEFISHEE
Today, I tested my water and my Trite was up to 1.0, Trate was 3, and ammonia was 0. I figured that one of my fish had died behind the rocks, but he finally came out. I just did a 10 percent water change on Tuesday. I don't think there is anything wrong with the water (I buy it at the lfs). I am starting to think my candy cane is really dying now, the tissue has almost receded completely. My mushrooms have been shriveled today and they are not looking too good. I am starting to worry:( Link to comment
changhsu
Hmm... if everything gets affected, perhaps its the environment, e.g. the water, temp, or lighting, etc. What is your sg? Other tank specs? What filtration? Since its summer time, people's been talking about overheating too. Get a 2nd opinion, take a water sample to your LFS. Link to comment
LITTLEFISHEE
I will take a sample on Sunday. SG: 1.025, 2 x 36 watt PC, BakPak2 skimmer. 11 gallon tank. I don't think overheating is a problem, I keep my a/c at 65-70 degrees. I keep the tank at 78 degrees. pH is 8.3, kh is 10 dkh. Link to comment
