Will the AQ300 fit onto a 7G Bow?

I am finally buying all my needs today.

7G Bow and Blue Paint,

50 Watt Mini Heater (hopefully will fit into the HOB),

Test Kits,

CSL 32w Retro Lamp,

Mini Jet 404,

 

Lastly I need to know if a AQ300 will fit onto the 7G Bow

without cutting or modifying the hood? I really

would like to get one this size for future mods (fuge, etc..)

 

So if anyone uses a AQ300 on their 7G Bow, PLEASE let me know.

It will fit, but you will need to make the opening in the hood a little wider.

There are a few 50W heaters that will fit.

Visi-Therm, Tronic, ............ EBO-Jagger won't

I have the ac300 on my 7b bow, with a 50w submersible heater, and a fuge box. You have to trim about 3/8" off the hood to accomidate the larger size of the ac300, but its very easy to do with a hobby knife. The ac300 fitted with the ac150 prop will also be enough circulation for your tank not to worry about adding a pw for circulation. Mine blows sand all over the place, I had to move the intake to the low side, and try to adjust my fuge box so it wouldnt dig a pit in the front of my tank.
