Basile
I think i got micro bubble as well. Tell me if that works to get rid of them.....(the sand in camber 3 that is.) No absolutly not, you'll reck your pump. beside sand doesn't stop microbubbles. But you can put some LR rubble in the slot where the sponge use to be. Besides when the chaeto grows it will trap most of the bubbles. One way also is to fill up your tank right up so the distance the water in chamber one fall in chamber 2 is not too much. Now in the 3 picture, you see the sand in chamber 3, but its just the sand from chamber 2 that when through the baffle between chamber 2 and 3, it was not intended. I'll cover that sand with LR rubble and that will help stop the microbubbles. And as you can see the water cumming from chamber 1 doesn't fall from much to reach chamber 2. Having filled up my tank like that doesn't pose any problem, even when the pump is stoped, you can see where my tumb is; i can still put my hole arm , elbow and all and it wont overflow, tryed it and its cool.
