c est ma Posted February 2, 2008 Share Posted February 2, 2008 The markings look like Collinista, but the peak of the shell seems too high, and the size looks a little big, if those are normal sized zoas. Agree that it's not a sundial--no doubt some beneficial trochid/turbinid grazing snail, if not precisely a Collinista... --Diane Link to comment
willyboy Posted February 2, 2008 Share Posted February 2, 2008 I would say the same thing Diane. I have quite a few collonistas and they never get bigger than 1/8 in. I've never seen one with a pointy shell either. Those may be tiny zoas. Look at the size of those grains of sand in proportion to the snail. Just something to think about. Link to comment
