Also, you say these are extremely hardy. From what I've read, while they can tolerate (and perhaps need) an excess of dissolved nutrients (i.e. nitrate) and perhaps even low oxygen conditions, they typically waste away in a year or less and die. They are one of the hardest corals to keep alive. However, I have read interesting theories that this coral may indeed thrive under otherwise undesirable water conditions (high nitrates, phosphates, lots of algae and phytoplankton, low light).

i have this coral.

he has done very well for almost a year and no signs of fading or illness.

very beautiful and probably my favorite piece.
