Sapphire Skimmer Info

I recently purchased a used Sapphire skimmer for a JBJ 12g NanoCube (Thanks, Luis). But it didn't come with any instructions.

 

I've tried to email and PM Kyle but don't get an answer. I've checked his website and it is pretty much "shut-down"

 

Does anyone have a copy of PDF of the instructions that would come with the unit? My specific need is to determine the optimum water level. I can control the level of water in my chambers as result of a home-brew mod. Searching the threads, I learned that if the level is incorrect, you can get microbubbles. But I can't find what the correct level should be.

 

Can anyone help?
