Toooloud
Looking to find out what you are all running. im running a 20 gallon and was thinking about getting the bottom corner of the tank drilled.. and adding a 1 inch hole.. and then run a 25 gallon SUmp/Refuge. What are you all running? Hang ons, drilled tanks? Link to comment
coralreefengr
We have an internal overflow. It is there to hide the heater and pump and provide oxygenation. No drilling, no hang-on stuff and no media. CRE Link to comment
skeletor
I just ordered an overflow from the fuge dude in canada. I wanted a fuge and strap-on didn't seem an option with a bak pak skimmer there also. anyway, I've made a 5gal into a sump/fuge, soon to be hooked up. I would much rather have drilled the tank but since it's full that wasn't an option. I think drilling near the top is a better, you can then have a nice small overflow box, drilling the bottom you got to have a full height overflow and that wastes to much tank space in a 20 (imo) -skeletor- Link to comment
