Does anyone have any sugestions for a retro fit kit that will fit in an Eclipse 6 hood? The tank itself is only 14" wide and that light size is only 12".

Nevermind. I ordered the 2-13 watt kit from A H Supply.com for $15 and two 13 watt 50/50 10,000k Day/Actinic 3 bulbs from HelloLights.com $7.95 each.

You can use this kit to convert a 1x15w fluorescent light strip to 2x13w. Includes: Two 13 watt thermally protected magnetic ballasts; two 2-pin GX23 sockets; wire for completing the connection of the ballasts to the power cord and switch in your light strip; wirenuts and screws needed for installation; and pop-in vent covers and base pads. Requires two 13W bulbs (not included).

* The first 13W 10,000K and True Actinic (not a blue coating) 50/50 nano-reef or refugium bulb out there!!! Give your little tank what it needs.

* True Actinic 03 phosphors!!! - Peak at 420nm

* Crisp white 10,000K daylight (that's 10,000K, NOT 6,500K like the current daylight bulbs we sell!!)

* 7 1/8" overall length, 5 5/8" glass tube length.

* GX23 style base (hellolight's ballast kits have GX23 bases on them).
