offsprg01
ok the title pretty much says it all. i'm looking for a good sand sifting star fish. i would like him to be a bright color. and i'd really like him to stay small. i've seen some really pretty bright red/orange ones. dunno anything about them though. i'd like a few names so i could do some research. if it is even feasable to keep one a 10 gallon nano. thanks guys. Arden
Sand sifting stars are Astropecten polycanthus they are cool but not brightly colored. You can find a picture at liveaquaria.com under starfish. They will be fine in your nano when they are small. I red that they can grow up to a foot wide but I have never seen one more than a couple inches wide. Link to comment
