mtuttle02 Posted January 3, 2008 Share Posted January 3, 2008 Hello, I have had the subjected light now for 2 months with no problems. Last night I had a wind storm which caused the power to surge while the fixture was on. When the power surged the light turned off but the fans continued to run- I know the ballast has to cool before it re fires etc, so I just turned the fixture off for the night. Well- tonight when I switched the light on the color of the bulb wasn’t nearly as blue as before???? Will a power surge ruin a MH bulb- Has anyone experienced this before?
