T-Dawg
Hi, just purchased a feather duster today. LFS advised to just acclimatize then put in anywhere. It will find its own resting spot in the tank. Is this true or should I anchor him onto a rock or let him be on the substrate floor? Link to comment
Aware
stick him in a rock crack, lower down, they like to feel secure. Link to comment
NJLuke
Find him a nice hole in a rock to stick him in- or bury half of him in the sand under a rock. I hate when lfs just say throw him in there, he'll be fine. haha really ####es me off. What are you going to feed him? -Luke Link to comment
T-Dawg
I'm not to sure. LFS advised it will filter feed + frozen brine shrimp once in a while. Not 100% sure how I can get the brine shrimp down the tank to him. any suggestions? Link to comment
jdsabin1
Frozen brine to a feather duster? Good lord what do lfs's do to train people? Dose your tank with phytoplankton (DT's, etc) a few times a week and the duster will be fine. HTH! Link to comment
Aware
usually they sort themselves out with almost no direct feeding, they are very efficient filter feeders. Link to comment
