Toooloud
So i setup a 25 Gallon nano, and started having the issues that most will have that is that there is a Huge buildup on the surface.. so i tried a couple of things, Did not want to run a overfow just becouse of space.. So i did this.. I took an old Overflow unit apart and installed part into the 25 gallon and hooked up 2 301 powerheads using Utubes.. This is sucking water out of the Overflow box and pumbing it back into the tank.. Here you can see.. now this is a much larger model than i want so in the next couple of weeks im going to work on designing a smaller model.. WAs thinking the same idea just smaller and instead of using Utubes connect the powerheads directly .. Link to comment
tims55gallon
If your pressed for space then Fluval makes a surface skimmer for about $15, They work! Good Luck Link to comment
