Wasabi
I'm thinking of making a DIY HOB fuge/skimmer. I'd start with this container(large one): http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod...d=6&pCatId=3847 Then I'd cut some plexiglass to make 2 compartments(1 small/1 large) in it. In the small compartment, I'd put a Sanders Piccolo. In the rest I would make my fuge. For circulation, I'd use a Microjet 320. What would be the best(safest) way to hook the 320 for circulation? I'd like it to be in the HOB so I can save some tank space. Would just some simple intake/return tubes work? Also, since this container is clear, would the lighting from the main tank be sufficient for the fuge? Ther back of the tank is clear with no background. If not, I can add a small clamp on pc. I wouldn't run the skimmer all the time, I'd just like to have it there for occassional use. Thanks for reading and any input, Scott Link to comment
