newbiefishgirl
I posted a thread on here all worried about my coral banded shrimp and then I went home to see that he had molted. It was the coolest thing!! Now I was also worried because he was not eating. Do they not eat during this time ???? Link to comment
sammy33
Molting is a sign of a happy shrimp. The water parameters have to be correct for a successful molt to occur. The shrimp may hide and not eat for a couple days. This is normal and part of the process. Link to comment
harbingerofthefish
I was at a LFS when one of thier blood shrimp WAS molting. I looked around and grabbed the nearest couple I could grab just to share in the experience. They obviously were "just looking" as they stared at me oddly and were like,"yeah okay, cool" some people *sigh* Link to comment
