Wasabi
Could I keep 2 Sexy Shrimp and 1 Fire Shrimp in a 5 gallon nano or would they fight? Thanks, Scott Link to comment
Mnesarchus
That would be exceptionally tight. Link to comment
Wasabi
The Sexy Shrimp that I have seen are very small. There looks like enough real estate in the tank for the 3 together with enough room leftover. I thought the Fire Shrimp would just take up one spot and mainly stay there and the Sexy Shrimp would mainly hang in the corals? Would they all fight? Thanks for the input, Scott Link to comment
TiGs
I have sexy shrimp and cleaner shrimp and they don't bother each other at all. Hope that helps a little. Link to comment
Wasabi
Thanks TiGs, Is OK to just have one Sexy Shrimp? I thought they did best in pairs+. If I can just get one, that would workout great. Also, how much do small shrimp add to the bioload of a tank? Scott Link to comment
TiGs
Having one is just fine. They really dont add anything to the bioload at all. They are very small, mine are about 1/2" in size. My sexy shrimps do like to hang around corals like, ricordea, sarcophyton, hammer coral. I think they would much prefer and anenome to hang about but I dont have one of those. They are pretty much scavangers and snatch up any food that floats by them. Link to comment
Wasabi
Thanks again TiGS, I apreciate the valuable info. I'll just get 1 first to go with my fire shrimp and if things look good, I'll add another. Scott Link to comment
