dickie52
Last night my light went off on my refugium (is is always on 24/7) Today my tank seems to be getting more cloudy as the day goes on. I have started doing some water changes. Does anyone have any ideas???? The refugium has a lot of calupers in it. The tank is a 5 gallon seahorse tank and the refugium is a 10 gallon. The seahorses don't seem to be breathing heavy or anything like that. Thanks, Dickie Link to comment
dickwayne
Is your Caulerpa turning a clear color? It could be "Going sexual." I've read about it doing this when it runs low on nutrients and it needs to spread itself to other places. You might want to harvest some, if this is what it's doing. Rich Link to comment
dickie52
Rich, Thanks for the reply. I think what you mentioned, is just what happened. I went to 1 gallon per hour water changes and put 3 bags of cemi-pure in the over flow and some high grade poly resin in the area where the water enters the refugium. All seems to be well now!!! The water is crystal clear and all tests are good. Thanks again..... Dickie Link to comment
