Water Movement in a 1.5 gallon

I have this tank sitting around and it is bugging me cause it is empty

It is around a gallon and a half

I have everything to set it up and stock except something for water movement

I tried a small rio and a mini jet 404 but it seem to be too much

Any suggestions on what I can use?

I just want to throw a few of my small frags in there such as mushrooms and xenia

With a tank like that you could just use an airstone. Look on reefcentral for a user named brandon459 or something like that. He has a 1g or 1.5g nano and uses air for circ. It looks really cool. Good luck!

I don't know about a 1.5 gallon tank, but I have a Micro-Jet that is made by the same people who make Maxi-Jets. It's even smaller than a Mini-Jet. I'm using the smallest one (MC-320) on my 7 gallon nano. It supposedly runs at 72 GPH max but can be turned down to as little as 31 GPH. Smallest PH that I've found so far - high quality too, even has a thick grounded power cord, (compared to the size of the pump).

In my 5 liter I use 3 zoo-med MC10 (max 240liter/hour) but they are very gentle and very small
