I think Ihave a Mantis Shrimp ....

I can not get a pic of it but atfer looking at pics of the Mantis and the other shrimp that clicks that I can not currently remember the name of I think it is Mantis.

 

My question is do Mantis shrimp plug up the holes they live in ?

This shrimp covers its hole up with something white and breaks out of it when it wants to come back out.

 

Please help with this, I was just going to go get a clean up crew but now I think I have to wait.

 

What are your opinions?

i think you most probably do have a mantis.

to get it out what i did was scoop a dish full of tankwater, hold the rock over it and with a dropper squirt with fresh water into its hole. hold rock over dish and watch him squirm out as the fresh water shocks him. this method proved very effective for me.
