blk_g20
**you have to copy and paste these links into a new window for them to work.** http://pics.bbzzdd.com/users/blk_g20/110-1029_IMG.JPG http://pics.bbzzdd.com/users/blk_g20/110-1026_IMG.JPG these are the new rocks i got from gulf-view. they have fuzzy, plant/algea/i-dunno-what growth on them. should i take these rocks out and scrub them in a bucket? or will the cleanup crew clear that stuff up? i wont be able to add critters for a while since the tank is only a week old. also, can somebody identify this stuff? http://pics.bbzzdd.com/users/blk_g20/110-1023_IMG.JPG the plant-like things in question are the branchy one in the middle and the one in the background...you can see bubble 'leaves' growing on that one. this pic also shows the 'fuzziness'...should i scrub these rocks...i really hate to take them out and rearrange them and drip water all over the place. Physh1
I wouldn't. Most of it will live and look great. The rock will look awesome. The ID you wanted....it's juts a type of red caulerpa algae...it's good and hardy stuff. I'd just let everything run it's own course and enjoy the rock. Cameron Link to comment
