surfy Posted June 20, 2003 Share Posted June 20, 2003 Test the Iodine level in the tanks water before you put any supplement in. If you do regular water changes you might not need it. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS on bottle, it's better to underdose than overdose. Iodine test kits are hard to find (at least for me) but they are out there. Link to comment

But ... if you're doing regular water changes, you might not have to add much of anything except calcium. Link to comment
