Red Algae

well, my snails have starts to devour every last spot of algae i got on my tank :) lol. but ive nooticed some red algae starting to pop up here and there. good or bad?

If it's hard and crusty, attached to rocks and glass, thats coraline. If it's slimy and wispy and attached to the sandbed and rocks, cyano.

Probably cyano. Get as much out as possible. Suck it out with a turkey baster or with some airline tubing. Be diligent. Cutting back on the lighting cycle helps too. When all else fails try chemi-clean as a last resort.
