JG Posted October 28, 2007 Share Posted October 28, 2007 I have had this skimmer for a year; it works well overall. But the last week or two it seems to just have stopped skimming. There is no foam build up, when I take off the collection cup there used to be fizzing, now nothing. Any thoughts? Link to comment
Audioadict Posted October 28, 2007 Share Posted October 28, 2007 Try cleaninf off the blue plate next to the collection cup. (i think it has 6 or so very small holes which need to be clean of all salt creep.) Link to comment
basser1 Posted October 28, 2007 Share Posted October 28, 2007 I had a similar problem once and Kyle at Sapphire suggested I clean the pump as there may be something lodged in there. I took it out, cleaned it, and it worked! You can also try starting and stopping it to see if that works also. HTH! Link to comment

JG Posted November 5, 2007 Author Share Posted November 5, 2007 Cleaned the propeller, the inside of the acrylic tube and added a longer air tube with a maxijet air controller and it is giving me foam again! Link to comment
