Wow pretty intense colours on those zoas. I noticed how clean white the Current 18wx2 light is, my blue mushroom really glows with an intense blue.

 

I'm not having any flow problems and the ricordia is staying put in my tank.

 

I'm wondering if that nozzle you have on the outflow may be increasing the flow. Try taking it off and see if that makes a difference. I have no nozzle on my outflow and the flow is pretty evenly distributed throughout the tank. Also what pump are you using, I'm using a Maxi-Jet 400, the Maxi-Jet 900 might be too powerful if that's what you have.

What is the distance from the refugium wall to the back of the tank?

 

Also what is the height distance of the space between the 2 sides of the refugium?

 

Did you use aquarium silicone or acrylic silicone?
