Best calcium rector for a 40g?

Whats the best clacium reactor for a 40g Also what skimmer do you recomend i'm thinking about a Aqua EV-112 skimmer or should i use a difrent type of skimmer.Thanks

a reactor is way overkill for a 40 gal, you could save a ton of money using kalk for your topoff. I have mine hooked to a standard 5 gal bottle, an aquacontroler and a dosing pump. when the ph goes under 8.18, the doser runs for a few secconds. and this is all cheeper than a reactor. also, one twist of a screw and you are screwed with a reactor, it would not be hard to dump your tanks ph down to ~7.0 in the course of a day
