upgrading from JBJ 12g to a aquapod 24g

hi guyz i am upgrading next week from a jbj 12g to aquapod 24g. Need some HELPS and TIPS transfering stuff over to the new TANK. any TIPS will help me out .

 

here is couple of question

1. i have 2inch of sand bed right now. should i need more LS for my 24g?? if i do should i just MIX the new LS and the OLD LS together??

 

2. LR. i have about 15 to 20LB of LR. is it enought for the 24G?? if its not enought i need to get some CURED LR.

 

3. when i am transfering stuff from a 12g to a 24g. just replace stuff from 12g into 24g and add more SW should be okay right???

 

4.if i am getting more LS and LR and put into the new tank, does it affect my cycle or anything?? right now my tank has been running for 1 yrs now.
