ReefWaters
Okay, I know everyone has their own opinion on this subject and they are always different. I'm setting up a 30 gallon reef with about 20 gallons of extra sump/fuge water. I plan on doing weekly water changes. I would like to hear some different opinions for and against skimming on a small tank. Link to comment
SeaMountain
It would be easier for you to read the responses and opinions which have already been done a buh-zillion times on this. Try running you cursor up to the top of the page and look for the button. Click it, enter the phrase 'skimmer opinions' or something similar and you'll get everything you need. Where's ESPI when he's really needed?!?! BRING ESPI BACK!!! Link to comment
Raise
For a tank that size I'd use a skimmer. Link to comment
Sahin
I would get a skimmer too. Sure keep up the good maintenance work, but a skimmer really does help. It helps oxygenate the water (say your main pump died one day...etc etc) and more importantly, it removes alot of the protein crap. Link to comment
